PROCESS

From Request to Permit-Ready

Four steps, no guesswork. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch to when you have a permit-ready plan in hand.

01

Send your project details

–   Project location (municipality, road name, cross-streets)
–   Scope of work (what you're doing and for how long)
–   Start date and working hours
–   Known permit requirements, if any
–   Any files you already have (drawings, site plans, previous plans)
If you're not sure what to include, send what you have. We'll ask for the rest.

02

We assess the category and confirm the price

–   We review your project details and assign a Category 1, 2, or 3
–   You receive a confirmed price before any work starts
–   If engineer review is required for your municipality or category, we flag it at this stage
–   If road use permit coordination is needed, we scope that separately
No surprises later. The price confirmed here is the price you pay.

03

We draft the plan

–   Site-specific to your actual corridor and work zone, not a template with your address on it
–   Built to BC TMM 2020 and the issuing municipality's current requirements
–   Includes all required elements: legend, notes, signing schedule, detour routes where applicable
–   Engineer review coordinated at this stage if required
Standard turnaround is 72 hours. Many Category 1 projects are back in 1–2 business days. Rush is 24 hours.

04

You receive the permit-ready document

–   PDF formatted for permit submission
–   Revisions included at no extra cost until the permit office accepts the plan
–   We coordinate any back-and-forth with the permit office, so you don't manage the reviewer
–   If road use permit coordination is in scope, we handle submission as well
You get a plan that's ready to submit, and support if any questions come back from the permit office.

Turnaround Times

Standard turnaround 72 hours (3 business days)
