Traffic Control Plans & Traffic Management Plans

Site-specific plans built to BC TMM 2020. Category 1, 2, and 3. Permit-ready, with revisions included.

A Traffic Control Plan is a site-specific document outlining how vehicle, cyclist, and pedestrian traffic will be safely managed during work on or near a roadway.

Under WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation 18.3.2, employers responsible for short- or long-duration work must ensure a written traffic control plan is developed based on a risk assessment. The plan must identify traffic control measures, implementation procedures, roles and responsibilities, and a schedule for regular review and updates. It must also remain accessible to workers at the work zone.

At BPB Traffic Solutions Inc., we develop site-specific TCPs in accordance with applicable WorkSafeBC regulations, the BC MoTT Traffic Management Manual (2020), and municipal requirements. Each plan considers roadway conditions, speed limits, traffic configurations, and pedestrian and cyclist safety.

For larger projects, we also prepare Traffic Management Plans addressing multiple construction phases, traffic impacts, public notifications, and coordination between work zones.

Our plans are tailored to your project and prepared for submission to the applicable road authority.
